What phones do you support?

The Ubiqi Health app runs on:

  • iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad
  • Android devices
  • Blackberry devices
  • Most feature (non-smart) phones for AT&T and T-Mobile in the United States, but you will need to have a data plan. For example, Nokia 6650, Sony Ericsson w760a, LG enV, LG VU
  • Most feature (non-smart) phones running on GSM networks outside the United States

What if my phone isn’t yet supported by Ubiqi Health?

You can use the Ubiqi Health tools through the ubiqihealth.com website on your computer, or on your mobile device. If you have a phone that isn’t yet supported by us, make sure to let us know by emailing us at: info@ubiqihealth.com.

How do I get started?

All you need to do is create a Ubiqi Health user account. When you have finished creating your user account, you can choose to download and install the mobile app from several mobile app stores.

How do I view the reports?

You can view your reports by logging into www.ubiqihealth.com and clicking “get my reports” on the right sidebar.

Is my data secure? How will my data be used?

Your data will be backed-up and stored in an encrypted format. Your data, if used, will only be accessed in an aggregated format, stripped of your personal identifying information. For more information, see the Ubiqi Health Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Use.

What does it mean when I am notified that an account has already been created with my email address on the Android app?

This means that you’ve already created an account with that same email address, and this first version of the Android app won’t let you create another account with the same email because the Android app isn’t yet harmonized with the older system. If you would like to switch over to using only the Android app (and not the web or other mobile apps), you could create an account using a different email address than your first account.

Can I see entries I entered from the website on the Android app?

With this first release of the Android app, the only way you can view your old entries is through the web portal; you will not be able to see your old entries through the Android app.

Will I be able to interchangeably use the app for Android, app for iPhone/Blackberry/other devices, and the web site to enter my migraine data?

With this initial release of the Android application, data you enter on the Android app will not be viewable on other devices yet. It would be best not to enter information through the website or other mobile devices.

I am switching from an Android device to an iPhone/Blackberry. Will I have access to the data I entered through the Android app?

With this initial release of the Android application, your data will not yet be available to be viewed on other devices.

I am switching from an iPhone/Blackberry/Java device to an Android. Will I have access to the data I entered through the other mobile app?

With this initial release of the Android application, you will not be able to access your old entries from your other device on the Android app. The best place to view your old entries would be through the Ubiqi Health web site.

How can I delete my account on the Android app?

If you would like to delete your account information and data from Ubiqi Health, write an email to info(at)ubiqihealth(dot)com to requesting your data to be deleted. We will also require you to confirm the email address associated with your Ubiqi Health account.

Can I delete my posts?

I have an iPod Touch or iPad that isn’t always online (connected to WiFi or a phone network). Can I still use the app?

Yes. The iPhone / iPod app works offline as long as you have logged in once while online and have saved your username and password. If you enter any new information while offline, that information will be updated the next time you are connected to a phone or WiFi network.

At this point, you cannot delete your post if you are using the iPhone app, but we are working on updating the apps to allow you to delete your entries in the future.

Do I need a data plan?

Yes, if you want to use the Ubiqi Health mobile app on a feature phone (non-smart phone), you will need a data plan if you don’t already have one. You will only need a basic data plan that allows you to access the internet through your phone. If you have a smart phone, like a Blackberry or iPhone, you most likely have a data plan.

Where should I save the Ubiqi app on my phone?

You can save it in any folder that you like, but most people save it under a folder that is called something like “Applications”, “Games and apps”, “Games”, or “Downloads”. The most important thing is that you remember where it is.

What security settings should I pick?

Every phone is different, but it is recommended to select settings that ask for “network access” only the first time. If you don’t select this, you might keep getting pop-up messages asking for permission to access the internet.

I keep getting a security pop-up warning. How do I get rid of this?

The reason for this is probably because of your security settings. To get rid of the pop-up warnings, go to your application settings (usually accessed through the settings menu of your phone), and ensure that “network access” is selected as “always on” or “only ask the first time”.

Can I use the Ubiqi app even if I don’t have any coverage?

If you are using the Ubiqi app on a Blackberry or regular feature (non-smart) phone, then yes, you will need mobile network coverage to use the app.
